Job summary

MMD Services is seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer to join our highly visible, globally distributed team in Chicago. You will own the health and performance of a VMware vSphere/ESXi platform, manage Windows and Linux systems, and build automation with Ansible Tower to reduce toil.

You’ll work with Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat platforms powering AI workloads, support Azure IaaS, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• VMware vSphere/ESXi expertise required.
• Windows Server (2016+), Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) experience.
• Container tech: Kubernetes, Docker, Red Hat platforms.
• Automation experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower.

Responsibilities

• Own health and performance of VMware vSphere/ESXi platform.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Red Hat container platforms.
• Maintain Windows and Linux environments and diagnose issues.
• Develop automation to reduce toil using Ansible Tower.
• Manage identity and access including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.
