Job summary

CBTS in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Contractor VMware Engineer to design, implement, and manage a VMware-based virtualization environment on-site. You will maintain a secure, high-availability infrastructure and support upgrades throughout the engagement.

The role requires strong VMware expertise, Windows and Linux server proficiency, SAN/NAS/storage networking knowledge, and demonstrated troubleshooting in production environments.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Working knowledge of SAN/NAS storage and networking concepts (VLANs, NIC teaming, DNS, TCP/IP).
• Experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under time constraints.

Pay Rate: $50- $55/hour on W2, client will not consider C2C
