Job summary

CBTS is seeking a qualified Cloud Administrator to join our technical support team in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on delivering quality client service across hardware and software platforms, analyzing client needs, and guiding architectural decisions.

Responsibilities include leading small-to-medium design projects, implementing production changes, and maintaining infrastructure components with a focus on reliability and DR planning.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years Cloud Administration experience (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud Platform).
• 1 - 3 years' experience on an enterprise level operations team.
• Background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a technical support team delivering quality service to clients using diverse hardware and software.
• Analyze client needs and propose architectures and trends.
• Lead small to medium design projects interfacing with project managers.
• Plan and implement small to medium changes on production systems and assess risk.
• Install, configure, patch and maintain servers, databases, networking and storage.
• Design and assist disaster recovery tests and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with vendors to meet service level obligations.

Job description

• Core hours are 3pm EST to 11pm EST with expectation of some flexibility, 2nd shift hours
• Work as part of a technical support team delivering a quality service to single/multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software products
• Analyze and understand clients' needs and expectations, as well as alternative architectures and trends
• Interview clients' technical teams to gather relevant information to facilitate architectural requirements definitions Takes responsibility to lead small to medium scale design projects, interfacing with project managers
• Establish, explain, and validate the solution testing criteria for projects
• Design services in accordance with Accenture standards and vendor best practices
• Remain current on vendor best practices as it relates to the interlinking of technologies (Windows, VMware, Storage platforms)
• Provide expertise on system performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintenance patching and new version installation
• Develop and maintain standard templates for repeatable build outs
• Work with vendors and drive them to help us meet our service level obligations
• Plan and implement small to medium scale changes on production systems
• Analyze and assess the impact and risk of small to medium risk changes on production systems
• Install, configure, patch and maintain appropriate technologies (e.g. servers/databases/network/ storage)
• Design and assist small to medium scale disaster recovery tests
• Create and review technical system recovery plans
• Demonstrate commitment to Service Excellence
• At more senior levels, perform major upgrades of systems and associated products
• At more senior levels, act as technical lead for one or more small to medium scale clients

Required Skills

• 1 - 3 years Cloud Administration experience (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud Platform)
