Job summary

Airgas is hiring a VMI Tech/Sales Support Specialist in Danville, IL to service key vending account customers and stock cabinets and storerooms with inventory of gases and safety products. The role includes basic troubleshooting and cross-training with Outside Sales.

You will support pricing, prepare quotes, and translate data for account managers using SAP and BW, while building strong internal relationships and delivering solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and replenishment to customers of industrial products and vending items.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical vending systems.
• Review stock levels and reorder inventories at multiple departments.
• Maintain branch inventory levels for proper replenishment.
• Prepare quotes and support pricing strategies with the sales team.
• Translate sales data and usage reports into actionable insights for account managers.
