Job summary

Vallen USA in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking a VMI Team Lead to provide leadership and training to the VMI staff. This role ensures accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of merchandise at customer sites, and may assist management to coordinate coverage and support for key accounts.

You will oversee daily VMI operations, coordinate with the sales team, and drive continuous improvement in inventory levels, safety, and customer service. A strong track record in logistics leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma required; 10+ years in supply chain, logistics or distribution.
• 6+ years in supervisory roles, leading teams.
• Preferred: Associate degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor VMI associates on daily tasks and safety.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT standards.
• Set up customer space to receive shipments and stock designated areas.
• Manage orders from Vallen warehouse to customer site with accuracy.
• Perform VMI at point of use areas and coordinate with sales.
• Keep inventory data updated and report to management.
