Vallen Distribution in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator II to deliver and manage inventory at customer sites. You will handle storage, distribution, and order fulfillment of merchandise and parts, ensuring accurate shipments and effective VMI processes.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company standards.
• Willingness to learn and work on semi-routine assignments.
• Self-starter with ability to work under supervision.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Proactive with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Able to build strong relationships with customers, coworkers and management.
• Willing to gain knowledge of company products.

Responsabilidades

• Drive company vehicles to deliver goods safely and per DOT rules.
• Ensure shipment accuracy to the customer.
• Assist with VMI space setup and stock product in customer area.
• Follow customer orders from pickup to delivery and setup.
• Process spot buy orders and relay to CSR or Account Rep.
• Scan barcodes to generate customer orders.
• Perform VMI functions at use-area points and communicate with supervisor and sales.
• Track min/max, reorder points, and report observations to management.
• Recommend changes to customer inventory levels based on usage.
• Keep bar code labels up to date for scanners.
• Assist in annual inventory counts on consigned items.
• Present information and respond to client questions.
• Maintain 5S in VMI points of use areas.
• Perform other duties as requested.
