Job summary

BlackHawk Industrial Operating Co in Hartford, CT seeks a VMI Technician to replenish inventory at customer sites and uphold safety standards, ensuring accurate stock levels and reliable service. You will travel to customer locations, stock vending and crib systems, perform cycle counts, and log activities in VMI systems while coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–4 years in warehouse or inventory roles, with a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment processes, and warehouse operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Replenish, organize, and maintain inventory at customer locations.
• Monitor usage trends and adjust stocking levels to meet demand.
• Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Record transactions and inventory movements in VMI systems.
• Load/unload products safely and handle materials properly.
• Enforce safety policies and control access to warehouses.
