Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an Inventory Solutions Specialist (VMI) to manage inventory audits, replenishment, and customer training within an assigned territory. You will act as a subject-matter expert for inventory managed solutions and coordinate projects between customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong Excel skills, field-based independence, and the ability to travel locally to conduct inventory counts, audits, and customer visits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in inventory/operations or similar field.
• Experience in retail, DC, or distribution environments is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs) and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory audits and replenishment within assigned territory.
• Coordinate projects between internal teams and customers.
• Train customers and vendors on inventory management processes.
• Support implementation of new inventory solutions at customer sites.
• Present market conditions and inventory concerns to customers and leadership.
