Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a detail-oriented liaison to manage inventory within a client facility using Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) principles. You will handle daily replenishment orders, transfers, and reporting to keep stock levels accurate and aligned with customer needs.

The role requires coordination with customers on stocking levels, seasonal demand, and inventory optimization, with regular travel and hands-on inventory control in a client-site environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of daily replenishment orders.
• Receive daily replenishment and branch transfers to maintain inventory.
• Complete control reports as described in operations manual.
• Monitor and adjust min/max inventory parameters.
• Communicate market and customer conditions to stakeholders.
• Engage with customer about stocking levels and seasonal fluctuations to avoid outages.
• Monitor inventory and regional items.
