Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a liaison to manage a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) site within a client's facility in South Carolina. You will ensure daily replenishment orders are fulfilled accurately and coordinate transfers to keep inventory aligned with demand.

The role involves monitoring min/max levels, communicating market conditions to stakeholders, and engaging with customers about stocking levels to avoid outages. Travel is minimal and the environment is typical of a distribution setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of daily replenishment orders.
• Receive daily replenishment and branch transfers to maintain inventory.
• Complete all control reports in the intervals described within operations manual.
• Monitor and adjust minimum as well as maximum parameters on an ongoing basis to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Recognize and communicate market and customer business conditions to stakeholders.
• Engage with the customer about product stocking levels, assortment, and seasonal fluctuations to avoid outages.
• Monitor inventory and maintain regional items as necessary.
