Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an Inventory Clerk to serve as a liaison between the organization and the customer-supported solutions within a VMI site. The role focuses on maintaining day-to-day warehouse functions at the client's facility and ensuring accurate replenishment.

Responsibilities include processing daily orders, updating inventory, and monitoring stock levels to prevent outages. The position requires physical ability and 2–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; experience in inventory management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate fulfillment of daily replenishment orders.
• Receives daily replenishment and branch transfers to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Completes control reports as described in the operations manual.
• Monitors and adjusts minimum and maximum inventory parameters.
• Recognizes and communicates market and customer conditions to stakeholders.
• Engages with customers about stocking levels, assortment, and seasonal fluctuations to avoid outages.
• Monitors inventory and maintains regional items as necessary.
