Job summary

GALLO invites motivated students or graduates to join our Viticulture or Grape Breeding Research Internship in California. You will contribute to precision growing practices, collect field data, and collaborate with experts across Winegrowing disciplines to support yield, fruit composition, and wine quality improvements.

The role requires availability for the full internship duration, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to ranch locations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college/university or has completed a Bachelor's/Master's in Life/Ag Sciences, Engineering, or Ag Business.
• Willing to commit to the full duration of the internship program.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; ready for motor vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field data collection for grapevine phenotypic traits.
• Collect tissues for genetic analyses and conduct maturity/ compositional analyses.
• Determine vine yield components at harvest and assist with vineyard data analytics.
• Collaborate with internal teams and industry collaborators to advance precision growing practices.
