Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager to lead one of our busiest departments and help customers make healthy choices through exceptional service. You will manage merchandising, inventory controls, and team supervision to maximize productivity and profit while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires 18+ with vitamin/holistic experience and leadership, a flexible schedule, strong communication, and the ability to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 1 year of vitamin/homeopathy/holistic experience with leadership duties or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to take direction while maintaining a team environment.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and dust.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Willingness to gain education on new products and alternative health.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service.
• Provide guidance on vitamins, health and beauty products without prescribing.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
