Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Vitamin Manager to lead the vitamins and health section in a fast-paced store. You will supervise staff, manage orders and inventory, and ensure top-notch customer service on vitamins, supplements, and health products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have 1 year of vitamin/holistic experience with leadership duties or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication and ability to take directions while working in a team.
• General housekeeping in the department: cleaning and dusting.
• Adherence to safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations.
• Willingness to learn about new products and alternative health.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move a ladder and operate a cart; walk up to 3 miles in a shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Lead a team to deliver the finest quality products and highest level of customer service
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and guidance on vitamins, supplements, and health/beauty products
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins and related products to advise customers without prescribing
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team
• Unload and sort store deliveries
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
