Job summary

Generations Lakeview Coomons seeks a Part-time Activities/Vitality Coordinator to enrich residents’ and staff’s lives through engaging mind, body, and spirit activities. You will promote the Vitality program, model the philosophy, and ensure adherence to Generations’ Mission, Vision, and Values in daily interactions.

The role requires experience with older adults, an associate degree in relevant field, and CPR certification (to be completed within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in therapeutic recreation, health education or activity program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year related experience in activities and/or wellness with older adults. Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral direction.
• Current CPR certification, or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Create opportunities that enrich mind, body, and spirit for residents and staff.
• Communicate the Vitality philosophy and program benefits to staff and residents by example.
• Ensure Generations Vitality program standards are met and align daily work with Mission, Vision, and Values.
