Job summary

County of Yolo seeks a Vital Statistics Technician in the Clerk-Recorder branch of the ACE Office to provide excellent customer service to the public, funeral homes and agencies. Responsibilities include processing vital records, Official Records requests, FBN filings, and mailing Official Records, with various clerical tasks in compliance with state laws.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Provide superior customer service to the public, funeral homes, and agencies.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities for handling concurrent tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail in processing vital records.

Responsibilities

• Process certified copies of vital records and Official Records requests.
• File FBN statements and mail Official Records.
• Assist in processing Burial Permits, Out of Hospital Births, and related letters.
