UF Health Shands Homecare seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support Registered Nurses by performing routine procedures under supervision and help deliver excellent patient care in a trusted, collaborative environment.

Eligible candidates include EMT/Paramedic, CNA with experience, nursing students in approved programs, or current staff awaiting NCLEX; CNA licensure required if not enrolled in a nursing program. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week in Gainesville, FL.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with routine nursing procedures under supervision.
• Provide nursing support to achieve patient care goals.
• Demonstrates compassion and patient advocacy in a collaborative environment.
