Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare in Gainesville seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support Registered Nurses with routine procedures and patient care. The ideal candidate may be a Licensed EMT/Paramedic, a CNA with experience, or a nursing student enrolled in a recognized program, ready for the NCLEX pathway or awaiting authorization.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT or Paramedic certification required.
• CNA with HS diploma and 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• Nursing student enrolled in an approved program and NCLEX-pending considered.
