Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Assistant to support Registered Nurses with routine procedures and patient care tasks. This role emphasizes patient advocacy and collaborative, safe nursing practices in a trusted care environment.

The PCA provides hands-on nursing support under supervision, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, and basic care while prioritizing comfort and safety. Experience as CNA/EMT or nursing student is preferred; CNA certification is required for

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA or EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.
• Nursing student enrolled in an approved program is welcome.
• NCLEX eligibility or recent CNA training experience is considered.

Responsibilities
