Job summary

Advocate Health, a major health system, is seeking an Environmental Services team member in North Carolina. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with every other weekend, and pay range $18.85–$28.30 per hour.

Benefits eligible with health, retirement, and education programs. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas, handling chemicals, waste removal, equipment upkeep, and adherence to safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred: One year experience
• Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
• Can operate equipment
• Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers

Responsibilities

• Dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures
• Washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures
• Sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors
• Vacuuming and shampooing carpet
• Re-stocking restrooms
• Replacing light bulbs
• Reporting repairs
