Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Environmental Services technician for full-time hospital cleaning duties. You will follow a 7-Step cleaning process, disinfect areas, and remake beds after discharge.

The role requires physical activity including walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and weekend work on an every-other-weekend rotation. Benefits eligible with a comprehensive total rewards program, including paid time off and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks in assigned area following a 7-Step cleaning process and bed remakes after discharge cleaning.
• Maintains floors and carpets per maintenance schedule.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exterior equipment.
• Empties trash, wipes and relines containers, operates compactor if necessary.
• Replenishes disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings to original locations after job completion.
