Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services worker for Atrium Health Union in North Carolina. The role covers comprehensive cleaning tasks, from dusting and sanitizing to waste disposal and light maintenance.

You will work the 2nd shift, earning $18.85 to $28.30 per hour, with a 40-hour week and strong safety guidelines. The position offers education benefits, wellness incentives, parental leave, and robust health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred: One year experience
• Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
• Can operate equipment
• Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of assigned areas to include, but not limited to: dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures.
• Washes windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures.
• Sweeps, scrubs and refinishes floors; vacuums and shampoo carpets.
• Restocks restrooms; replaces light bulbs; reports repairs.
• Removes waste: collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash, changing sharps, transporting waste, recycling.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports failures to maintenance.
• Maintains safe working environment by following procedures and infection control guidelines.
• Attends required in-service education and training classes; maintains technical knowledge.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines.
