Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Environmental Services team member at Carolinas Medical Center. This full‑time role covers 40 hours per week with an every‑other‑weekend schedule and pays $18.85 to $28.30 per hour.

You will perform housekeeping tasks, follow a 7‑step cleaning process, and help maintain clean fixtures, floors, and patient areas. On‑the‑job training is provided, and benefits eligibility applies under Advocate Health Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
• Related experience preferred.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks in assigned area, follows a 7-step cleaning process during discharge cleaning.
• Maintains floors, carpets, fixtures and walls according to maintenance schedule.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment.
• Empties trash, wipes and relines containers, operating compactor if necessary.
• Replenishes all disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings to original locations following completion of job.
