Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Specialist, Visual Merchandising in Chicago to oversee VM standards in-store and during events. You will work with the Visual Lead to implement guidelines, manage fixtures, and ensure windows and floors reflect the brand between sets and launches.

The role requires coordinating with boutique management, maintaining VM photography records, and driving client-focused experiences in a luxury environment. A strong communication mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or related art/fashion field is required.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar position, preferably with a luxury brand.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a client-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee visual merchandising standards within the boutique during hours and events.
• Supervise with the Visual Lead the implementation and maintenance of VM guidelines, window installs, fixtures, and mannequins.
• Communicate VM direction to Image Ambassadors and boutique management.
• Maintain merchandising on windows and selling floors between sets and launches.
• photograph the boutique after floor/window sets and upload to Dropbox per guidelines.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects.
