Job summary

CHANEL in the United States seeks a Specialist, Visual Merchandising for Nordstrom Valley Fair to oversee VM standards within the boutique during hours and events. You will supervise with the Visual Lead, implement and maintain guidelines including window installs and the setup of fixtures, tools, and mannequins.

The role requires strong communication and collaboration with Boutique Management, and the ability to move display elements, photograph the boutique after changes, and work

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable Art/Fashion related course of study.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or higher: preferably with a luxury brand.
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to move heavy items up to 25 lbs and flexible schedule (late nights, weekends, holidays)

Responsibilities

• Oversee VM direction, animations and guidelines to Ambassadors and boutique management.
• Coordinate movement and storage of display elements with Visual Merchandise Manager.
• Ensure windows and selling floors are merchandised per VM guidelines between floor sets and launches.
• Take photographs after floor/window sets for maintenance and Global Image Team.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and deliver timely results.
