Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a Manager of Visual Merchandising to design, develop, and implement in-store visual programs across premium brands and retail partners. The role requires delivering fast, cost-efficient design programs while supporting business priorities.

The candidate must excel in 2D/3D design, have strong communication skills, and possess an elevated aesthetic for luxury audiences. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role with cross-functional partners and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of VM experience in beauty or fashion, focusing on 2D & 3D design.
• Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, display materials, and production processes.
• Graphic knowledge including typography and packaging artwork.
• Diversified portfolio showing VM program development in specialty, department store, and open-sell environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VM Managers to design, manage, and roll out merchandising programs across brands and retailers.
• Create 2D & 3D design proposals for US channels, including department stores, pop-ups, and in-store events.
• Produce schematic drawings, 3D renderings, and planograms for approvals.
• Collaborate with brands and cross-functional teams in a shared service environment.
• Coordinate with vendors to produce, price, and value-engineer VM elements; create packaging artwork.
