Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a Manager of Visual Merchandising to lead the design, development and execution of in-store visual programs across multiple prestige brands and retailers. This role demands speed-to-market design programs, cost optimization, and alignment with business priorities.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in beauty/fashion VM, with proficiency in 2D/3D design, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, plus strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years VM experience in beauty or fashion; emphasis on 2D/3D design, planograms, and packaging artwork.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering and display materials/production processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managers of Visual Merchandising to concept design, project management, implementation and roll-out of merchandising programs and initiatives across our retail environments.
• Adapt seasonal global concepts to create 2D & 3D design proposals for opportunities at US specific retail channels including Department Store Visual weeks, retail outposts and pop-ups and in store events
• Create schematic design drawings, 3D renderings and planograms for global HQ, US cross-functional partners and retailer approvals
• Provide consistent communication and transparency with brands and cross-functional partners in a shared service environment
• Manage and collaborate with vendors to produce, price, and value engineer on-counter VM elements
• Graphic design based on brand assets and copy; packaging print ready artwork
