Job summary

The Visual Specialist at The Container Store leads the visual efforts in the store, overseeing maintenance, merchandising and merchandise processing to convey our organized brand to customers. You’ll work with the store team to reach sales goals and understand how visual presentation impacts store performance.

The role includes managing daily routines, setting up campaigns, introducing new products visually, training staff on guidelines, and ensuring accurate signage and stockroom organization.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes consistent daily product maintenance routines in the store.
• Directs, leads and executes the setup of campaigns in support of all marketing initiatives and product presentation.
• Executes all new product introductions from a visual presentation perspective and ensures timely placement.
• Leads the P.A.C.E program for processing merchandise and oversees receiving, processing and merchandising.
• Partners with the Operations Manager and Inventory Specialists to maintain stockroom organization.
• Trains all staff on daily maintenance, merchandising guidelines and merchandise processing.
• Ensures visual presentation reflects our brand with signage accuracy and dusting/cleaning.
• Engages with customers to solve organizational challenges and supports sales goals.
