Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a Visual Specialist for our Atlanta store to lead visual merchandising, product presentation, and merchandise processing. You will partner with the store team to reach sales goals and maintain brand standards across campaigns and new product introductions.

In this role you will oversee early morning processing, staff training on maintenance routines, and ensure accurate signage and stockroom organization to optimize customer experience.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years merchandising experience preferred.
• Prior Retail Management experience required.
• Strong computer skills.
• Must be available to work early morning shifts starting at 5am for freight.
• Weekend availability required.
• Retail is an ever-changing industry requiring scheduling flexibility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes consistent daily product maintenance routines in the store.
• Directs, leads and executes the setup of campaigns in support of all marketing initiatives and product presentation according to Merchandising Department direction.
• Executes all new product introductions from a visual presentation perspective and ensures that they are placed per direction in a timely manner.
• Leads the P.A.C.E program for processing merchandise (late evenings and early mornings) according to guidelines.
• Partners with the Operations Manager and Inventory Specialists to maintain and educate staff on stockroom organization.
• Trains staff on guidelines for daily maintenance, merchandising guidelines and merchandise processing.
• Ensures visual presentation reflects our brand, including signage accuracy and dusting/cleaning.
• Remains informed in all areas of visual presentation through daily communication with specialists.
• Shares product knowledge with customers and store team.
• Provides feedback to management during daily touch base meetings.
• Supports inventory accuracy and timely communications.
• Drives initiatives and motivates staff to meet or exceed goals and deliver exceptional service.
• Engages with customers to solve organizational challenges.
• Accountable for achieving sales goals in partnership with the store team.
