Job summary

The Container Store in New York is seeking a Visual Specialist to lead visual merchandising, campaigns, and product presentation across the store. You will work with the store team to meet sales goals, ensuring our organized brand is clearly conveyed to customers.

Responsibilities include daily maintenance routines, new product introductions, and training staff on merchandising standards, while collaborating with the operations team to maintain inventory accuracy and deliver exceptional service

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2–5 years merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Retail is a dynamic industry requiring scheduling flexibility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes daily product maintenance in-store.
• Sets up campaigns to support marketing and product presentation.
• Executes new product introductions from a visual perspective and places items per direction promptly.
• Leads P.A.C.E. processing for merchandise at times.
• Partners with Operations and Inventory teams to keep stockroom organized.
• Trains staff on daily maintenance, merchandising guidelines, and processing.
