Job summary

Puig is seeking an Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising, Prestige, in New York to drive retail excellence across luxury beauty brands. You will blend visual merchandising, business analysis, and project management to elevate brand presence and optimize retail investments.

The role partners with Global and local teams to translate strategic objectives into compelling in-store experiences, leveraging market trends and retailer performance to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Merchandising or Design.
• 3+ years of luxury beauty, fragrance, retail merchandising, or retail operations experience.
• Experience with Beauty Specialist teams, field operations, or beauty counter environments.
• Strong project management and budgeting experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support short- and long-term retail strategies aligned with brand priorities, sales performance, and business growth opportunities.
• Develop business presentations, performance recaps, and strategic recommendations for local and Global stakeholders.
• Support development and execution of permanent retail initiatives, ensuring best-in-class brand presentation across all POS.
• Manage visual merchandising projects including fixtures, signage, graphics, and retail installations.
• Collaborate with Global and local teams to adapt brand concepts to market and retailer needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and agencies to manage production, installation, and execution timelines.
• Conduct store visits and retail audits to improve visibility, merchandising effectiveness, and consumer experience.
