Belk, Inc. seeks a Visual Merchandising Lead to drive sales and deliver a premium customer experience through compelling displays and elevated presentations.

You will execute visual directives, enhance merchandise presentations, and ensure alignment with brand identity and company standards. You will collaborate with merchandising, operations, and selling teams to ensure visual excellence and achieve store objectives.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
• Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work with paint, climb ladders, carry props, and work with visual elements at heights.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in achieving store objectives and key metrics.
• Plan and execute visual merchandising directives, installations, and floor setups for events and campaigns.
• Create visual impact through displays, lighting, mannequins, and strategic element placement; perform daily maintenance.
• Maintain organization of visual collateral, signage, fixtures, and supplies; verify inbound components.
• Communicate daily objectives and key tasks; model team knowledge to improve results.
• Participate in weekly leadership planning using directives, planograms, and manifests.
• Support inventory accuracy and product protection procedures; promote asset protection and safety.
• Enhance team performance by onboarding and teaching opportunities; support ongoing learning.
• Foster associate engagement and a positive store culture; ensure staff understand their role in goals.
• Support in-store customer experience through service, stock replenishment, and store recovery during peak periods.
