Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to execute brand-aligned visual presentations across AL, TN, MS stores, including Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Hoover, Jackson, Greystone, Chattanooga and Montgomery.

The role requires 4 days in-store and 1 remote work-from-home day, with responsibilities spanning merchandising, transfers, and new store openings to drive customer experience and sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Implement in-store visual presentations that align with brand standards and manage merchandise transfers between stores and distribution centers.
• Oversee clearance and floor inventory levels in collaboration with the Market Sales Manager on store needs.
• Execute regular floor moves for furniture and seasonal displays, ensuring timely and efficient execution of visual merchandising directives.
• Serve as the primary contact for store merchandising initiatives, ensuring clear communication and effective implementation.
• Ensure visual displays are maintained in a clean, safe, and attractive condition, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with store teams to maintain high merchandising standards and solve issues during implementation.
• Lead and assist with new store openings, remodels, visual enhancements, acquisitions and store closings and high impact sales events.
• Train store teams on recovery plans, and best practices for maintaining displays.
