Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to execute showroom displays and support floor resets across Southeast Louisiana. The role involves implementing planograms, refreshing displays, and transporting merchandise between showrooms.

A remote day is included once per week, with travel up to 75% across Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Covington and Metairie showrooms. The position targets candidates with 0-2 years in visual merchandising, strong design sense, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in visual merchandising or related field.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques.
• Flexibility to travel to multiple stores in a geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Execute visually appealing showroom displays to drive in-store conversions and brand loyalty.
• Follow planograms to position furniture, tables, lamps, accessories, and artwork.
• Refresh floor sets based on new introductions, seasonal sets, promotions, and inventory strategies.
• Receive, tag, and transfer merchandise within the showroom.
• Assemble furniture and climb ladders to hang accessories or pictures as needed.
• Assist with merchandising for new stores, store closings, and regional remodels.
• Collaborate with the store manager and visual merchandising team.
• Participate in meetings on floor products, style mix, and displays.
• Analyze trends and competitive shopping for inspiration.
• Pursue training and development to improve visual skills.
