Cleveland Clinic’s Independence Family Health Center seeks a Visual Field Technician to support primary care and eye services. You will work between Independence and Strongsville locations, performing visual field tests, recording results, and preparing patients for exams with attention to accuracy and safety.

The role requires manual dexterity and patient-facing interaction, with training provided on OCTs, Topography, and Pentacam as applicable.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Formal Ophthalmology training preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing healthcare role preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine screening tests such as vision and glasses checks.
• Check visual acuity and read current glasses prescription.
• Record data in patient records and operate the visual field machine.
• Prepare patients for exams, including dilation if directed by physician.
• Handle clerical tasks and ensure orders are signed and charges captured.
• Maintain exam rooms and assist with supplies as needed.
