AmeriCorps VISTA Leaders in Nebraska are seeking a motivated leader to develop and promote service opportunities across rural and underserved communities. You will expand digital presence, craft newsletters, and highlight impacts of VISTA members and host organizations.

You will track activities, assist reporting, and support statewide recruitment to elevate national service and engagement in Nebraska.

Qualifications

• Experience in non-profit or civic programs preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills for community outreach and collaboration.

Member Duties

VISTA Leader will develop and promote VISTA service opportunities to attract talented individuals to Nebraska, with a focus on rural and underserved communities. Expand ServeNebraska’s digital presence through strategic social media, storytelling, and communications. Apply skills in writing, editing, graphic design, photography, and digital content creation to showcase VISTA members, host organizations, and community impact. Create newsletters, social media campaigns, recruitment materials, web content, presentations, flyers, and other promotional resources. Track program activities and outcomes and support ServeNebraska staff with reporting, data collection, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Through these efforts, help strengthen statewide recruitment, elevate the impact of national service, and build greater awareness and engagement across Nebraska.
