Job summary

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a Park Ranger (Visitor Services) to provide information and assistance to visitors, and to conduct interpretive and educational programs at a refuge in Rhode Island.

You may support visitor center operations, public outreach activities, special events, and the maintenance of exhibits and facilities. On-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and shift work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver outreach plans for visitor services and education programs.
• Build and manage partnerships with community groups and organizations.
• Oversee MOAs/MOUs for visitor-services partnerships and funding needs.
• Plan refuge events and coordinate participation in external activities.
• Develop interpretive and environmental education programs for diverse audiences.
