Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newburyport, MA is seeking a Park Ranger to manage fee collection, visitor services, safety, and public education. The role includes supervising fee collectors and volunteers, coordinating with Refuge Law Enforcement, and delivering educational programs to the public.

You may telework with supervisor approval; some duties involve outdoor work with exposure to weather and weekend/evening shifts.

Formación

• U.S. Citizenship or National status required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must wear a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service uniform.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the fee collection program, recruit/train/oversee up to three fee collectors and volunteers.
• Manage fee/cash handling, reporting, and accountability for funds.
• Coordinate crowd/traffic control and public safety with Refuge Law Enforcement.
• Provide high-quality visitor information and distribute maps and materials.
• Develop and deliver educational programs for the public and volunteers.
