Job summary

The Museum of Science, Boston is seeking an Operations Representative to warmly welcome guests and manage admissions in high-traffic areas such as the exhibit hall entrance, 4D Theater, school group check-in, and special exhibits. You will ensure a friendly, efficient entry experience and support theater operations and public programs.

You will coordinate with the Visitor Services team to uphold a world-class guest experience, handle capacity, assist school groups, and participate in safety

• Strong, clear communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and admit guests by scanning tickets and memberships.
• Assist in admissions, show control, and capacity management.
• Provide friendly, professional information and resolve guest needs.
• Support theater operations and other areas to ensure safe, high-quality guest experiences.
• Coordinate with the Visitor Services team to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Assist in evacuations during emergencies when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
