The SMDC educates people of all ages about marine science research and ocean conservation. The Center is a 17,500-square-foot facility with additional outdoor features on a cliff above the Pacific Ocean, located on the UC Santa Cruz Coastal Campus.

This role oversees the student staff team's recruitment, training, coaching, and performance, which welcomes and supports the public at the front desk and exhibit hall.
The ideal candidate is an intuitive people person, a skilled coach, and a detail-oriented team leader who delights in building welcoming, inclusive experiences. This position partners closely with the Revenue & Retail Manager
