Job summary

Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is seeking a Visitor Center Assistant to welcome guests, assist with parking, and support volunteers at the BGTC Visitors Center. You will handle guest inquiries, maintain records, and help coordinate daily devotions and volunteer schedules.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and discretion, with a flexible schedule including some Saturdays, in a Visitor Center setting in Charlotte/Asheville area.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office, with strength in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with staff and volunteers.
• Ability to take initiative with required tasks and deliver results.
• Commitment to hospitality and excellence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain confidentiality where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and assist with parking in coordination with gatehouse staff.
• Assist visitors with physical needs and share BGTC ministry history.
• Maintain accurate visitor information and data records, and handle prayer requests with Intercessor Coordinator.
• Support TVTM set up and data entry statistics; ensure attendance forms are completed.
• Assist with volunteer needs, training, and daily devotions with volunteers.
• Create and manage volunteer schedules and distribute materials throughout the building.
• Assist in ensuring aesthetic and maintenance of the Visitor’s Center and coordinate repair requests.
