Job summary

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) seeks a Lodging Services - Housekeeper to refresh guest rooms and common areas at BGTC in Asheville, ensuring comfort and cleanliness across Shepherd’s Inn, Pilgrim’s Inn, and guest cabins.

This role requires a Christ-centered approach, reliability, and the ability to work independently, with a willingness to support guests with warmth and hospitality in a faith-based environment. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
• Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
• Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
• Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence

Responsibilities

• Assists guests as needed
• Maintains room cleanliness including vacuuming, refreshing bedding, bathrooms and mirrors
• Ensures all fixtures operate properly
• Replenishes guest room sundries, paper products and other supplies
• Provides special cleanings, when needed
• Provides window cleaning, when needed
