Job summary

gTANGIBLE Corporation (gTC) in Washington, DC is seeking a part-time Visitor Management Specialist to support FPS VMAC at the St. Elizabeths Campus.

The role involves ensuring visitor checks in VMS, issuing badges, and handling identification per guidelines while maintaining data confidentiality. Qualified candidates will have at least three years in visitor management, experience with NCIC/NLETS, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in visitor management in private, public or federal facilities.
• Experience with NCIC/NLETS is highly desired.
• Experience should include reviewing and approving visit requests to facilities requiring controlled access in accordance with organizational policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively with a group or independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate extensive communication skills including empathy, problem solving, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the visitor is located with the Visitor Management System (VMS) prior to assigning the visitor a badge.
• Verify visitor identifications meet government guidelines (Real ID Act).
• Issue parking passes approved in VMS or by OCRSO.
• Coordinate with FPS representatives to handle large events and campus ceremonies.
• Conduct background checks using NCIC and adjudicate results per policy.
• Review immigration databases through NLETS and INTERPOL for access decisions.
