Job summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC in Colorado Springs is seeking a detail-oriented Visitor Control Center Operator to support Missile Defense Agency security operations and visitor processing. You will verify security requirements and coordinate access with security offices, government sponsors, and managers.

Responsibilities include processing VARs for events, maintaining records, updating databases, and assisting emergency responders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in badge administration.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in Common Access Card (CAC) administration.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with customers, employees, contractors, and government personnel.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail in a security-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Process Visitor Access Requests (VARs) for personnel requiring entry to MDA facilities.
• Review, verify, and maintain visitor access documentation in accordance with established security procedures.
• Coordinate with security offices, government sponsors, and security managers to ensure visitor access requirements are met.
• Process VARs for conferences, meetings, special events, and official visits.
• Support visitor access requirements for government personnel, military personnel, and contractor personnel.
• Verify security clearance information and need-to-know certifications as required.
• Maintain visitor records and supporting documentation in accordance with established retention requirements.
• Update access control databases and visitor management systems to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Support urgent and time-sensitive visitor access requests while maintaining compliance with security requirements.
• Provide professional customer service and assistance to visitors, employees, contractors, and government personnel.
• Assist medical, fire, law enforcement, and emergency response personnel as directed.
• Respond to emergencies and perform CPR, AED, and First Aid duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned
