Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Design, Technology and Production / Technical Director for a 50/50 teaching and technical role. Qualifications

• Requires terminal degree (MFA or PhD) in theatrical design or significant professional equivalence.
• Demonstrated experience in technical theatre and directing/production management.
• Experience mentoring students in scene shop and technical areas.

Responsabilités

• Teach beginning scenic design and stage management.
• Assist with recruitment and lead technical theatre recruitment.
• Mentor Technical Theatre students in design and technologies.
• Collaborate with department and production teams on season planning.
• Maintain safety procedures and assist with production budgets and scheduling.
