The Cardiovascular Health Tech Laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Bioengineering invites applications for a Visiting Research Assistant Professor position.
The laboratory focuses on developing new technologies for cardiovascular patient monitoring, including wearables (e.g., smartphones) for blood pressure measurement and heart failure tracking, as well as hospital and implantable devices for hemodynamic monitoring. The lab has direct access to patients at UPMC.
The position involves innovating, building, and validating sensors and instrumentation for current and new projects. It may also include implementing data analytics and machine learning techniques.
