Xavier University invites applications for a visiting faculty position in the Department of Biology to begin in Fall, 2027. This on-site role focuses on teaching undergraduates and supporting new neuroscience programs.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in biological sciences (or be a PhD candidate) with neuroscience specialization. Teaching four courses each semester is expected, utilizing prepared materials when available.

Qualifications

• PhD in biological sciences or PhD candidate required.
• Specialization in neuroscience required.
• Experience teaching undergraduate courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach the equivalent of 4 courses per semester, including neuroscience, majors-level anatomy and/or physiology as appropriate.
• Utilize existing course materials when available and contribute to course development.
• Participate in departmental activities and support program growth.
