Job summary

Xavier University invites applications for a renewable/permanent non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instruction, Biology, to begin Fall 2027. A Master’s degree in the biological sciences is required, with strong preference for human physiology experience.

The candidate will teach Human Physiology and related courses, coordinate labs with the department lab manager, and contribute to service activities. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a Master’s degree in the biological sciences.
• Experience relevant to human physiology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach majors’ lectures and labs (e.g., Human Physiology).
• Teach non-science/ allied health majors’ lectures and labs (e.g., Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology).
• Prepare and coordinate multi-section labs each term; collaborate with course instructors and lab manager.
