The Freeman College of Management at Bucknell University seeks twofull-time, visiting faculty members qualified to teachundergraduate finance courses. The appointment will start inJanuary 2027 and last for one semester (January 2027 - May2027). The Freeman College, an AACSB-accredited unit, offers innovativeprofessional education in the context of one of the nation'sleading liberal arts universities. We believe that an educationthat combines technical skills and deep intellectual exploration isthe best preparation for thoughtful and capable leaders. Thus, weseek faculty members capable of contributing to this mission. Wealso embrace the teacher-scholar model. Although visiting facultyare not required to engage in research, we look with particularfavor on those who are making creative intellectual contributionsto both teaching and scholarship in their fields. The teaching loadfor visiting faculty members is six classes per year. A record of excellence in undergraduate teaching is required. Qualified candidates will have completed or be near completion of aPh.D. or equivalent terminal degree (DBA, ScD), or have at least aMaster's degree in a relevant field supplemented by substantialprofessional experience within the finance industry.
