Job Description Summary: The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (MME) at Miami University invites applications from Visiting Faculty to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Mechanical Engineering, Smart Manufacturing Engineering, and Engineering Management, as needed. Course assignments are made each semester. Appointment begins in August 2026.

Job Description: Teach courses associated with the MME department programs based on departmental needs and the candidate’s expertise.

Minimum Qualifications: Required: Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Business or closely related fields, or a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of significant professional experience working with the relevant application(s) in a professional environment, along with proficiency in the skills needed to teach courses in Mechanical Engineering, Smart Manufacturing Engineering, and/or Engineering Management programs. Consideration may be given to candidates with prior teaching and/or industry experience.
